Hi! I'm a Cloud Platform Engineer at BCA, Indonesia's largest private bank. My job is basically to keep things running so that millions of people can transfer money, pay for stuff, and check their balances without thinking about the infrastructure behind it. Spoiler: there's a lot of Kubernetes involved.
What I Actually Do
I keep production platforms reliable at scale. That means Kubernetes/OpenShift clusters running applications for developers across AWS, GCP, and on-premises infrastructure. I also built an internal developer platform that most of the bank's developers now use to manage their own applications.
Before BCA, I spent several years as a technical instructor, teaching Linux and DevOps to working professionals. That experience taught me something valuable: if you can't explain a concept simply, you probably don't understand it well enough. I try to bring that same clarity to my engineering work.
When I'm not debugging something at 2 AM (on-call life), I'm usually thinking about how to make infrastructure simpler and more reliable. Or explaining to someone why their pod keeps crashing. Usually both.
